About CPBA awards

Students in public schools in Missouri may qualify for education beyond high school through the A-Plus Program, but those in private schools can not.  A brief description of this program may be found in Governor Holden's speech delivered in Springfield.  Click here to view transcript of his speech.

Religious schools of the Restoration Movement are offered scholarships by private individuals and the CPBA.  Students of other religions and Christians from other demoniations are eligible and have been awarded grants under the CPBA program.

Beginning in 1998-99, 14 students divided eight thousand, five hundred dollars in scholarship awards.  For the 1999-2000 school year, twelve thousand dollars was divided between 10 winners.  And for the 2000-2001 school year, six thousand dollars in CPBA grants was been matched dollar-for-dollar to distribute twelve thousand dollars among 8 winners.

Beginning in 2001-2002, a memorial fund will provide two five hundred dollar scholarships for the next seven years, ending in 2008.  If you would like to contribute to this or other scholarship funds, please contact Richard Neill at (816) 252-1715.
